In honor of Dr. Krueger, the Foundation developed an annual lectureship to be delivered at the Annual Dinner by a nationally renowned speaker selected by the Foundation Committee. The topics selected are usually ones that are appropriate for the time, interesting, and acceptable for reception by a general adult audience, both medical and non-medical.
In the early months of every year, the Committee begins the process of determining an effective speaker and a topic about which the speaker is very knowledgable. This begins with a list of several potential speakers and is narrowed to the one the Committee feels is best. The speaker is contacted and arrangements are made several months in advance of the event. The selected speaker will be announced on this page and will include the topic and a brief biography. Instructions on how to purchase tickets and register for the event will be provided here as well.
This year we are honored to have Dr. Deborah Birx present a lecture on Tuesday, October 9, 2025 at the Wyndham, Virginia Beach Oceanfront, 5700 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach.
